Late night self-indulgence

When I am through with the day's work, dinner and dishes; it's time for ME. I have a huge stash of ufos of my own to finish, and after 10 PM is when this happens.
The pink and turquoise chain quilt was a kit from Quilting in the Rain, designed by Cluck Cluck Sew. I did the sewing at my quilt group and quilted it late at night. The binding went on during Leno and finished up with Craig Ferguson. Hmmm...I don't remember it having that lump on one side; oops! it's Molly!

The lime green and pink charity quilt was made on retreat and finished up while watching Pride and Prejudice for the umteenth time!

The blue and tan mini is a customer quilt. It was really fun to do! I still  have tons of work to do, but taking time to finish something of my own keeps me sane.

I love my job! (and I'm tired)

The week following the retreat has been a busy one getting back to work at the Gammill. There really isn't anywhere else I'd rather be right now, my studio is the Zen center of my universe. The third photo below is of a tee shirt quilt I made for a customer. That took a couple of days to do, but turned out really special.
Customer quilts roll off the machine and into their owner's homes, leaving me to bask in the happiness my work gives them. What could be better? Oooo, grandkids coming to visit, maybe... That's coming up in a month and I am stoked to get through loads of quilts so we can spend some fun times together.Until then, enjoy seeing the fruits of my labor, and I hope you get inspired to sit down and sew something!
