I am getting up to speed with customer quilts. It feels nice to make some headway with all the backlog, and my back is holding up pretty well. Fingers crossed for the next flurry! Today, I am off to my sewing club and then it's back to the grindstone on Thursday.
Incidentally, you should check out this blog I found while poking around on the blogosphere. It has a potpourri of interesting quilts, tutorials, recipes, and even vintage Pyrex! Too cool! http://incolororder.blogspot.com
See you later!

My quilts from the show, and my customer winners
I hate to toot my own horn, but toot away!! One of my customer's quilts was Judge's choice and another was Viewer's choice. I like that. People like the quilts and that is wonderful validation of my vision as a quilter.
My own entries were things I had in the closet from guild challenges and mystery quilts, a class sample and my signature quilt from my stint as president of one guild. I never thought these were special enough to be show quilts, but I was wrong. Any quilt we spend time planning and making is show material. Maybe not best of show stuff, but projects people like to see and get inspiration from.
Thank you to all the viewers who liked my friend's quilt and rewarded us with the honor of Viewer's choice. This meant more to me than a first place ribbon. They liked my work and I'm feeling good because of it.
