Christmas at WAZOO!
What a happy day! Although the kids couldn't come this year, Mr Wazoo and I had a wonderful Christmas. Tomorrow will be Nifty Fifty and the start of a new sewing project. I am almost done with customer show quilts and back in my regular quilting groove, and looking forward to many exciting adventures in 2013. Most of all, I would like to thank my friends and customers for supporting my quilting habit, and wish you all a wonderful year ahead. Until next week at this time, Merry Christmas!

Another one done!
Well, I'm getting there! In fact I see a light at the end of the tunnel. Two more show quilts and then I am back on track with my customer queue.
Mr Wazoo has been busy doing the pantographs, so we both can have a happy holiday. I plan to have a quiet sit down in my jammies and watch sappy Christmas movies, eat prime rib and drink champagne.
More work tomorrow, then I am OFF!!

Another customer show quilt finished!!
We're closing in on Christmas and I am racing to get all my work done, gifts bought or made and sent, cookies baked, and all the other holiday turmoil conquered. We mailed all the packages yesterday and I don't think they'll make it in time, but then everyone will have an after Christmas surprise.
Meanwhile, I did finish another lovely show quilt for one of my customers! Mr Wazoo is working away on panto quilts, so all is well with the world. Now if I could just get a little more time to sleep...

Early Christmas here!
I had a real surprise this week when Mr Wazoo took me to the Honda dealer and got me new wheels for Christmas! The Wazoo Wagon has been updated and I am now almost cool. Now I just have to make the payments for 5 years and it's mine. ha ha ha. Well, at least it's new!

Another show quilt done!
I am doing my happy dance because I finished another customer show quilt! Whew! It took four days to quilt because of all the marking and ruler work, but it was worth it in the end. Mr Wazoo did the one with the kimonos on it; very nice!
I made some of those quick fleece knotted fringe blankets for gifts and have two more kinds of cookies to bake. Then there is wrapping and sending...oh dear, I'd better upload the pictures and get busy!!

Too busy to blog?!
Oh dear, I just realized how long it has been since I last blogged, and I am so embarrassed about it. Also, I am terrified I won't get everything done on time. Every quilt is taking longer than I expected and there has been some ripping going on, too. (Not your quilt, of course...wink wink) Last week I finished a quilt with loads of blank background (see below) and now I have another one on the machine! I am happy to say I am almost finished with it, but think the one after this one is a 'deja vu' job. Oh well, it's Christmas time, I have gifts to send (or finish), cookies to bake and quilts to quilt. At least we keep busy and always have something to be thankful for. Mr. WAZOO has kept up with all his jobs and is looking for more. He has taken to the Gammill like a duck to water, bless his heart.
I am off to bed and a good night's rest before hitting the ground running tomorrow. Enjoy the photos!
