My daughter Amy and her fiance Peter came for a few days after they were in Orlando for a pre-deployment briefing. We had a great time seeing the sights and catching up on things, but now I am really having to hurry up and quilt! Amy is preparing to go to Iraq next month for her second tour there. We all wish her well.
Oh, Mom, I love you so much and I'm really going to miss you. I promise to call and write as much as I can. I had a wonderful visit with you and am looking forward to the next time. I don't know if I've ever told you how proud I am of you. Your talent is amazing and I'm so glad that it brings you so much happiness. It really makes you sparkle. :-)
