Happy...Sad...Busy

We were having such a happy, productive week here at WAZOO! until last Monday when we received the call everyone dreads; my husband's brother-in-law died suddenly. After canceling appointments and arranging care for the dogs, (thanks, Joan) we jumped in the car and drove to South Carolina to be with the family and pay our respects. After a quick visit to North Carolina to take Tim's mom home, we returned to Florida and went straight back to work. It's amazing how mercurial our lives are, so I have decided to do what helps others and makes me happiest...quilting!
Here is a customer quilt I did last week as well as the May WAZOO! retreat project. (It's the blue and yellow one)
I'm glad to be home and back to the machine. Be well and happy!
