We were blessed to have a daughter come visit for the weekend, so there wasn't much quilting going on. Mr Wazoo did one quilt, and I worked on the featherweights, getting them cleaned and serviced. I'll have to take the 'After' pictures so you can see how they look now. I did order a lightbulb for one and some lube to finish the tune-up process. They should all be spiffy soon.

I should pay more attention to what's going on in Mr W's man cave. Is this the front? I don't know, but it is pretty. |

Meanwhile, Mom and daughter had a wonderful weekend, chatting, snacking, seeing the local sights, enjoying a fire in the fire pit, and just enjoying the time together. Very low key, but a good re-set for my busy girl. Back to work tomorrow.

We first took a ride around the back roads of Union county, ending up at Trackrock, where there are some petroglyphs in the woods. |
Its only a short hike to the spot where the carved rocks are. The signs explain what they are. |
We spent some time hunting for all the different symbols and animals on the 6 rocks. |
The etchings are probably easier to identify when the rocks are wet, but we were able to pick out many different symbols. |

This is Meeks Park. We have this wonderful park here that has something for everyone. Walking the path along Butternut Creek on a lovely summer day is a simple pleasure. |
Mr Wazoo stayed along the creekside, enjoying a shady bench while we walked. |
There are a few foot bridges over the creek that offer pretty views like this. |

Mr Wazoo, resting in the shade. |
