Hello happy readers! I have been nose to the grindstone with preparations for the blog hop. Today is my day! I decided to make all the quilts, but had a time crunch with Covid and my trip to Arizona. I'm doing the hand sewing on the last one tonight, but need to get my post up and ready for midnight tonight. You all know I'll finish it, so stay tuned.

ReplyDeleteAwww you did good! I'm so impressed, and all of them are magnificent. Now you are going to have fun answering all the comments - lol - I think I finally finished - and then putting them all into a drawing. Oh my what fun! Your quilting is really beautiful. I really love the photo of Twinkle against that gorgeous view off your porch. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteAll the quilts are beautiful! Well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you for participating in the blog hop. It's fun to read all the blogs and see what everyone is doing with the quilts.
ReplyDeleteI have a great Christmas tree panel I want to use the 31 pattern for.
I would love to win a prize. sdblosser@yahoo.com
Happy St Paddy's Day!! You were really busy!! Love your quilts.
ReplyDeleteI have a question - what do you mean by "TWIRL". This is probably something I need to know!! Thanks
Turn your 4 patch block over and release the two stitches at the edge of the last seam.(outside the other seam.) This releases the seam allowance where you can then use the tip of your finger to nudge the two sides away from each other. It forms a tiny four patch in the seam allowance and lets you press the seam flat! If the block is a pinwheel, a tiny pinwheel forms. Eleanor Burns showed this on her program many years ago.
DeleteThanks. I do this with Lemoine stars
DeleteI absolutely love your header - it made me laugh. You've been busy doing all the projects and very fitting for today that you used green for the first one. Happy St. Pat's!

I usually take longer to make quilts because I have a long farm business to keep moving. I admit, it was stressful to do them all in a short time, but I had fun, too! Any time I gat to play with my fabrics and create something I’m happy all but the table runner will be donated to Family Connection or a nursing home.
